Here we go again … another appearance of Veronika in Sunday Sport. I was expecting the regular re-printing of the same pics from Jens Wikholm shoots they have used many many times. Too my surprise I was stunned to see a BRAND NEW pic for Set 396 appear on a full page spread in today’s (Nov. 9, 2014) issue of Sunday Sport. Of course immediately bought the digital online copy since I had to see the pic in higher resolution. I hope this is the signs of more new pics to come soon. Sunday Sport also recently printed some new photos for Set 405 in the Aug. 10, 2014 issue. I guess that photographer Jen Wikholm must have agreed to FINALLY release several more photos from that May 2008 photo shoot (See 2008 in the Veronika Timeline for all sets). I know that when I approached Wikholm in the past to see if he would make available any additional photos from those sets he was not interested. Looks like he has had a change of heart which means good things to come for us fans 🙂

Here’s hoping for plenty more NEW pics to be published soon.

WOW this time some fantastic news about these Sunday Sport newspaper posts!!!

As you have likely been reading in the blog entries, the Sunday Sport franchise out of the UK has continued to release issues featuring both Veronika on the cover and in the content. My biggest complaint has always been that continually recycled the same 10-15 pics from a photo shoot Veronika did with Jens Wikholm back in May 2008. So when the latest issue hit the newsstands today using the same cover pic as they used just a few months ago, I thought … oh well another of the same … so my total shock when I open the 2 page spread and there were 3 new never before published pics of Veronika from Set 405.

I have provided a preview of the cover and contents below … however for those of you in the UK, you still have until Tues Aug. 12 to pick up a copy!!!!

Veronika once again graces the cover and has a nice 2 page layout in the Mar. 26, 2014 issue of Midweek Sport. Although no new pics again, is nice to see Veronika continuing to appear in this newspaper on a regular basis. Just goes to show that her beauty is timeless.

Well I have to hand it to the folks running the UK Sport Magazine franchise … they know a good thing when they see it … so they continue to pump out issues featuring Veronika … the second issue in one week as well … bringing the total number of appearances up to 69 (at least since we started keeping track at least!!!) Here’s hoping for many more in the near future.

Looks like they are exclusively featuring the photo shoots from Jens Wikholm for the last few years of releases. In this case pics from Set 396 shot all the way back in May of 2007.
