Set 230 New Pic # 7

Hi … is a new month so figured it was time to dig deep into the archives this time for an extremely rare pic from Set 230. The reason I say rare … this is the only set of J. Stephen Hicks which was featured in Penthouse publications but for some strange reason was NEVER released on their website. Thus very few pics from this set exist … just what was featured in several Penthouse issues from around the world. The one good thing about Penthouse was that versions of Penthouse featured different photos country to country .. unlike Playboy which always published the exact same layout regardless of country. This meant that little gems were always tucked away in local issues of Penthouse magazines … like this new “old” pic which I uncovered many years ago in a Spanish Penthouse magazine.

This set was from J. Stephen Hicks’ first photoshoot with Veronika back in Mar. 1998 as part of her first modelling trip to the USA 🙂

New Set 351 Pic

Was happy to find this new pic of Veronika for Set 351 published in an issue of Penthouse Letters from Dec. 2005.

Most of the large publishers like Penthouse and in particular Playboy tended to always print the same 8-9 pics for a particular set regardless of the country the issue was published in. Penthouse was a bit better in that regards than Playboy as they appeared to allow each country a little more liberty as to the layout and specific pics to use for their issue. This did lead to several unique Dutch Penthouse issues with images only ever released in those Dutch magazines.

The sad part however is that both Penthouse and Playboy would have spent a ton of money in arranging these photo shoots … flying the model and photographer to more exotic destinations, having dedicated make up and hair stylists available … yet in the end only ever release a handful of images … I can’t image the photographers pulled the trigger on the camera only 10 times during those photos shoots 😉 Based on what got published you would figure that was it. So what happened to all the other photos ??? Locked up in the archives of Penthouse and Playboy I guess never to ever see the light of day again. What a terrible waste for us fans.

Here’s a prime example … some “behind the scenes” footage from Veronika’s photo shoot for Playboy in New York City … what happened to all the “green top” photos … have only ever uncovered “one” !!!!!!!!

I wish I knew someone at either of those publishers who had access to the vault … would love to see what goodies they hold.

New Set 468

In honour of Veronika’s birthday tomorrow, I have decided to release a new set today …. Set 468 … comprised of 11 pics from a Dutch issue of Penthouse from Feb. 2002 and Onno Klein’s “Come In! (The Best of Onno Klein)” book.

Here’s a preview :

Veronika Voted “The Sexiest Ever”

Just picked up this 300th issue of a Netherlands Penthouse. In honour of this occasion they went back and looked at all the women that had been published in their magazine over the years and bestowed Veronika with the title of “The Sexiest Ever”. I certainly will not be one to disagree with their selection. The magazine featured a 12 page layout with a nice selection of pics of Veronika from J.Stephen Hicks. I have attached a preview of the cover and a couple of pages from the layout.

Definitely worth seeing if you can still find a copy on ebay to add to anyone’s Veronika collection!!!
