Unknown Veronika Set

Well a few days we received a huge surprise when a member of the forum posted this never before seen issue of Lollo magazine from 2004. He asked if I knew what set the image of Veronika belonged to which appeared on the cover … to my surprise … BRAND NEW 🙂

The hunt now begins for a copy of the magazine to see what is inside … if anyone happens to have a copy and would be willing to take a few snaps of the content, please forward to me … I would be forever grateful!!! Or if anyone knows of an auction / sales website where we can buy a copy of the issue please let me know.

If never ceases to amaze me how even after 20+ years we continue to find new content. I wish that we had an active Scandinavian member of the blog/forum who has been a fan of Veronika’s for many years and loved to collect magazines … I would love to know how many hidden gems are still waiting to be uncovered in those Scandinavian magazines like JALLU, KALU, Lollo, Napakymppi etc.

Unknown Aussie Photographer

As part of Veronika’s promotional tour of Australia for Penthouse, she managed to partake in a few extra photoshoots while she was there. There were 3 sets she shot for which we have yet to discover the true identity of the photographer who shot them.

Case in point: Set 142.

When published in “Mayfair” the photographer was listed as being Linda Lock whereas the same set published in Aussie magazine “People with Pix”, the photographic credits go to someone called Ryan. A search for Linda Lock yields nothing … and just the name Ryan doesn’t help much either. Both are merely pseudonyms for the real photographer we can likely assume.

I am hoping that there is someone out there who might know the true identity of this presumably Aussie photographer who got to work with Veronika back in 1998 🙂

The pics for Set 142 where only published in a few magazines in the end. One as I mentioned above was the Aussie publication “People with Pix” which did include some delicious pics of Veronika in the bathtub … here’s one that has never been seen before other than if you have a printed copy yourself. A brand new pic for the index … stunning!!!

Magazine Wish List

I finally managed to upload all the magazines currently in my collection up to the Magazine Appearances section of the website this week. I had fallen several hundreds of issues behind over the years and never seemed to find the time to catchup. Well this month I finally made the time 🙂

As of July 2018 the collection consists of a staggering 1164 magazines. I still remember when I started on the magazine collection journey thinking when I get to 200 mags that would be it … to my astonishment the mags featuring Veronika kept coming and coming … if you had asked me when I started that I would break through the 1000 barrier I would have said that you are crazy 😉 In any case, magazines continue to be uncovered on a monthly basis even after all these years. The tide just never seems to end for which I am happy to be honest (a little poorer of course … but happy none the less).

Anyway .. after all these years of collecting and searching there are a set of magazines which I have never ever come across for sale anywhere … I call these my “Magazine Wish List”. It used to be much larger but these ones have been extremely elusive:

For anyone who reads this and happens to have one of these issues please drop me an email … I would love to know that these are not just figments of my imagination.

Set 215 Angelic Pose

Here’s a brand new never before released pic of Veronika taken by Tom Millea back in 2002. Tom worked with Veronika only once as I had stated in a previous blog posting to generate some source material he could produce platinum prints with … he considered Veronika an “interesting subject to photograph” as he told me when I met with him several years ago. Seeing that the platinum printing process was both dangerous and time consuming he only produced a handful of prints from that photo shoot with Veronika. This left many images never to see the light of day. Luckily I managed to purchase all the 1500+ images which Tom shot that day of Veronika a few months before he passed way (RIP). Here is one of those hidden treasures for all to now enjoy … a truly angelic pose of Veronika … the only thing missing are the wings 🙂

Artist Focus: Denis Prenzel

Denis Prenzel was born in 1971 in Novi Pazar, Serbia (ex Yugoslavia), a small town in the Sandzak region.

Born to a father who devoted 60 years of his life to art in Belgrade, Denis first became interested in music as a child, playing drums in a band. In parallel, for a living, Denis also worked in the family bakery. In 1992, he hastily left the former Yugoslavia and the Balkans, where war was raging, to take refuge in Sweden. It was finally in 1995 he put his bags in Germany, where he now resides with his wife.

After many odd jobs here and there, it’s in 2006 that he decided to devote himself entirely to painting. He eventually became a freelance artist in 2012 and he made his specialty erotic drawings, with the talent that he knows. When he does not have a pencil or brush in hand, Denis is also exercised in photography, his second passion. Denis was a member of “The Guild of Erotic Artists” and had the honors of Jade magazine in London in 2014.

It is hard to argue that Denis has afforded us fans a collection of the some of the best works of art of Veronika. As can be seen from the samples below, he is one of the few artists able to capture the “essence” which makes Veronika. I hope you all agree 🙂

First “Real” Magazine Appearance of 2018

Well I guess I must have missed this one when it first got released in Feb … Mayfair was once again the first magazine to feature a layout with Veronika in 2018!!!

It was a reprint of a classic layout from 20 years ago (oh my where has the time gone!!!!) featured back then in Mayfair Vol 33 No 6 (June 1998). Here’s a preview:

Enjoy …
